General Terms and Conditions for Purrfect by Lot, cat sitting service in Groningen

1. Definitions 1.1. Purrfect by Lot: Refers to the services offered by Purrfect by Lot for caring for cats during the owner's absence. 1.2. Customer: Refers to the person or entity using the cat sitting service. 1.3. Cat Sitter: Refers to the person appointed by Purrfect by Lot to care for the Customer's cats. 1.4. Agreement: Refers to the agreement between the Customer and Purrfect by Lot for the provision of the cat sitting service.

2. Reservations and Payments 2.1. Reservations for the cat sitting service must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the service, subject to availability. 2.2. Payment for the cat sitting service must be made afterwards according to the rates stated by Purrfect by Lotte. 2.3. Any additional costs, such as additional food or medical care, will be charged to the Customer and must be paid immediately after the services have been provided.

3. Responsibilities of the Customer 3.1. The Customer is responsible for providing all necessary information about the cats, including medical history, dietary requirements and behavioral instructions. 3.2. Customer is responsible for providing sufficient food, water, cat litter and other supplies for the duration of the cat sitting service. 3.3. The Customer is responsible for providing access to the cats and accommodation during the agreed visiting hours, unless otherwise agreed with Purrfect by Lot.

4. Responsibilities of the Cat Sitter 4.1. The Cat Sitter will care for the Customer's cats according to the Customer's instructions and with the care and attention that can reasonably be expected. 4.2. The Cat Sitter will adhere to the agreed visiting hours and will inform the Customer in a timely manner of any delays or changes. 4.3. The Cat Sitter will immediately report any unforeseen circumstances, such as illness of the cat or emergencies, to the Customer and will take appropriate measures in consultation with the Customer.

5. Cancellations and Refunds 5.1. Cancellations by the Customer must be reported at least 24 hours before the start of the planned Cat Sitting Service. 5.2. For cancellations within 24 hours before the start of the scheduled service, Purrfect by Lot may charge fees up to a maximum of 50% of the total costs. 5.3. Refunds will only be issued for cancellations that have been notified in a timely manner in accordance with these terms and conditions.

6. Liability 6.1. Purrfect by Lot and the Cat Sitter are not liable for damage, injury or loss of the Customer's cats, unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. 6.2. The Customer indemnifies Purrfect by Lot and the Cat Sitter against all claims from third parties regarding damage caused by the Customer's cats during the cat sitting service.

7. Applicable Law 7.1. Dutch law applies to these General Terms and Conditions. 7.2. Disputes arising from or related to these General Terms and Conditions will be submitted to the competent courts of Groningen.

By using Purrfect by Lot's cat sitting service, the Customer agrees to have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.
